La Bigottiere is based in Passais La Conception, which is within a beautiful rural area just a few minutes from the medieval town of Domfront.

Passais boasts a complete range of amenities including a bakery, post office, tabac, butchers, pharmacy, banks and a small supermarket.

With its colourful history, the nearby town of Domfront boasts wonderful architecture and beautiful views across the Orne countryside as well as numerous cafés, restaurants and shops.

The beaches around Mont St. Michel are within easy reach or there is the man-made beach on the lake at La Ferté-Macé – ideal for children and adults alike.

Our nearest golf course is close to the elegant spa town of Bagnoles de L’Orne, and is set in beautiful woodland, with open fairways suitable for players of all standards.

Other activities including kayaking, horse riding and accrobranche are available locally for the more energetic. There are many lovely walks, and the pretty floral village of St. Fraimbault with its lake is just a few minutes away.

Caen ferry port is just 90 minutes from us and Cherbourg is two hours.
